Leah Parrent is a Licensed Clinical Occupational Therapist with over 25 years of experience in behavioral health. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and exposure therapies to address anxiety, panic, and other mental health challenges.
Leah takes a patient-centered, collaborative approach, utilizing a broad range of therapeutic modalities to meet each client’s unique needs. She earned her degree in Occupational Therapy from Loma Linda University and completed internships at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital. Leah spent 18 years at UCLA specializing in the care of children and adolescents, particularly those with eating disorders.
Her advanced training includes Neurofeedback and Somatic Experiencing, and she is currently completing her final year of training to become a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). Leah is committed to empowering individuals to achieve lasting well-being by addressing the full spectrum of their physical, emotional, and psychological health.
